Our sitting-up-and-eating-new-foods girl

I love her sitting up! Now she can grab her own toys and entertain herself a bit, plus she looks so darn cute doing it too.

Could you deny that face anything?

Her first food was mashed up peas... yum...?
"What is this stuff? Cause I'm not sure I like it."

Out with the old, in with the new

These shoes have "lasted" about 3 years. The soles are suppose to be straight - as in lined up with the floor. Obviously, they don't do that anymore.

That would also be the sole, if you couldn't recognize it.

This is where my big toe was suppose to be... it ended up making a lot of holes in my socks as you can imagine.

So... my mother had compassion. And as an early birthday present, got me new running shoes. Not only are they not adidas (which was my favorite running brand) but they are PINK. They literally had nothing else, and as you can see from the previous pictures... I was desperate.
So, I guess I am destined to get use to the color pink. I like it... especially on my daughter, just not on me. Oh well, running is most definitely worth it.

A New Hat for Walking

A cute new hat along with some drool... but even with the drool she is still so cute.
That's a birth mark on her elbow not a chocolate stain... :)

Don't you want to squeeze those cheeks? I do.

Skye's New Sunday Dress

So, pretty much everyone commented on this little angle's dress and how cute she looks in it - I would have to agree. :) Thanks Sheri for the gift! :)

Skye's Entertainment... for a couple of minutes anyway

Sidsie lent us this saucer for Skye to play in, she loved it for the first 5 minutes ....

....then she ended up sucking on the edge. Apparently that was more exciting than all the toys. I guess she needs to grow a bit more and be able to move around before she really appreciates all the toys. :)
With her chair, she gets really frustrated when the toys are in front of her and she is sitting up because she can't really see me through all her toys. But when I lay her sideways she loves kicking at the toys with her feet and she can still see me. She's just lounging about with her hands behind her head... how relaxing.

Some more of Skye

She is starting to get interested in some toys, but not for too long since she can't really pick them up with her hands yet - still working on that hand/eye coordination. :)

She always does this with her mouth. It looks like she is sucking on something, but it's pretty cute.

This is her helping me do some laundry. (sorry I couldn't rotate the picture).
